Marion County Public Schools is committed to expanding our Ready-Set-Grow Book Initiative for students between ages 0-4 by providing more families with reading material at home.
Community Birthday Bash
Marion County Public schools partnered with Springview Hospital, Central Kentucky Head Start, HANDS, First Steps, and CECC to give children in our community a Big Birthday Bash! We had 100 people in attendance with 41 being children from Birth to 4 years of age.
It was wonderful seeing so many happy families come together-we are so thankful for all in attendance. Please share the word---next year we want 200 people at our event.
Parents were provided resources, information, door prizes, and a book (author-Rosemary Wells). We were honored to have the Birthday Bunny greet the children and families. Also, as any good birthday party---cupcakes were served!
